Newfoundland Oil Exploration
Novoco's Logo

Mobil presented the below (024-M003-13E Map L) to Newfoundland's Government. Hibernia's structure should be in the lower square. The smooth slope they interpreted for the lower Cretacious is now flowing 120,000 b/d into Hibernia's first 2 production wells. Hibernia probably has 1.5 billion barrels recoverable. The potential wealth here is so great that oil companies are hiding obvious giant oilfields from the Government.

When I worked for a competing US major I interpretated their maps and by reversing their hiding techniques I exposed numerous undrilled structures between existing oil fields. They could be tied back to future platforms or consolidated to support a riser to a floating production platform. We even uncovered one massive structure with potential reserves of 40 Billion Barrels!

To explore Newfoundlands' virgin basins you need an experienced explorationist resident in Newfoundland. One who sees through the misinformation and critically reviews prospects. My computer mapping experience has trained me to eliminate bias and thus reveal the best prospects. Contrast that with the US standard of geologists promoting prospects they contrived to map.

I want to develop Newfoundland. Drilling dusters is a waste! My international experience shows me that Newfoundland's best prospects are on open concessions! But with the spate of drilling it will not take long before those companies already here orientate towards the richest areas.
