Western Newfoundland Blocks Novoco's Logo

With the Hunt well success there has been speculative staking of the Shelf Sequence areas of the West Coast. This preliminary rush was solely based on correlating Hunt's discovery well with the "Shelf Sequence" on the following General Geology map. Obvious geochemical lessons from Hunt's discovery have escaped the frivolous speculators, whose vague exploration programs usually guarantee failure. Their dry holes will then discourage serious exploration. These inexperienced adventurers need an experienced company to farm in and find them oil. This oil province is now ripe for knowledgable exploration. Locals can acquire prime acreage faster and at better terms than foreignors.

There will be many discoveries outside the blocks already taken. Exploration here is newborn and disorientated. There are still great opportunities to participate in or acquire lucrative concessions. Let the armchair explorers read about your work in Oil & Gas Journal.
